Privacy Policy

Effective July 22, 2026.

GlobalMacroLens is designed to be privacy-preserving. This policy explains what the public site does and does not do with data.

No accounts, no personal data

The public site does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information. We do not ask for your name, email, or any other identifying details to use the dashboard.

Local storage stays on your device

Your browser may store small preferences locally — for example your chosen appearance/theme and any views you save on a tab. This information is kept in your browser's local storage on your own device and is never transmitted to us or to any third party.

No advertising or cross-site tracking

We do not run third-party advertising and do not use cross-site tracking or advertising cookies to profile you.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may keep standard, short-lived access logs (such as IP address, request path, timestamp, and browser user-agent) for security, abuse-prevention, and reliability purposes. These logs are not used to build advertising profiles and are not sold or shared for marketing.

Third-party data and links

Content is aggregated from public data providers (for example the Federal Reserve, BLS, BEA, Census, and the ECB). The site may link out to third-party websites; your interaction with those sites is governed by their own privacy policies.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above will change accordingly. Questions? See Contact.
